Welcome to Lady Audrey′s Gallery, the premier showcase for emerging, and mid-career artists with a handful of established and Master artists thrown in.
"There are those who pursue [painting] because of poverty and domestic need, for profit and enthusiasm for the profession too; but above all these are to be extolled the ones who enter the profession through a sense of enthusiasm and exaltation"
............Cennino Cennini, Il Libro dell' Arte, 1437

The Gallery is very pleased to welcome textile artist Susan Cane to its stable of very talented people. Susan's quilt "The Northwoods" took Honorable Mention in the Winter's Waltz competition. She does accept commissioned work so you really need to check out her gallery page.
The Gallery is also more than pleased to branch out into the field of music. Written and performed by the Vanderlyn sisters, their debut CD In Her Eyes is available on the website and in the gallery.
Eagerly anticipated is the arrival of Chris Stone's newest collection entitled "Loneliness", gilded whimsical guys and gals more than one of which will want to go home with you. Stay tuned for updates.

Christopher Stone's sculptures have added that new level of interest to the gallery. Please stop by and visit this cornucopia of treasures. Cathie Karpf's photographic abstractions (no digital manipulation, just fine photographic art) are jumping off the walls. Harry Colley's photographs of architectural elements synchronize with the sculptures as well as with the hardedge abstract paintings of Phil Moncuse. And don't miss the beautiful French posters presented by Housatonic Fine Art & Custom Framing in Cornwall Bridge. Drop in and take the tour, if the sun is over the yardarm we might even offer you a glass of champagne
Chris’ “Stones by Stone” exhibit at Lady Audrey’s Gallery is dedicated to his mentor, Barry Flanagan, one of the most popular and distinctive artists of his generation, who passed away in August of this year.
In the United States, Barry Flanagan was best known for several permanent public sculptures, such as his giant bronze Hare on Bell at the Equitable Life Tower West in Manhattan and the spectacular temporary installation of the procession of huge bronze figures that marched down the median of New York's Park Avenue.
Chris and Barry met almost 20 years ago on Ibiza (Spain) where both had studios. Barry became interested in Chris’ furniture designs and over the years ordered several pieces. He eventually invited Chris to join him at his studio in order to mentor Chris’ sculpting talents.
Chris Stone’s sculptures today curve and wrap around the stone, working with the grain and the flow of the material, usually marble, resulting in subtly powerful pieces ranging from the classical realistic depictions of the human form to more abstract stylized dramatic pieces.
